TRC conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey for the proposed Center Point-Swamp Creek transmission line project in Whitfield County, Georgia, south of Dalton, on July 12 and 13, 2001. The project was undertaken for the TVA.

The project would consist of the construction of a five-foot wide concrete sidewalk within existing shoulders along the south side of Mt. Vernon Highway from Powers Ferry Road to Lake Forrest Drive.

A multi-use trail is to be constructed along the west side of this portion of Rogers Bridge Road, between Bell Road and the Chattahoochee River. The existing right-of-way on Rogers Bridge Road is 30 feet.

On September 4, 2003, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of thirteen signal system upgrade locations in the City of Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia.

In August 2003, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed intersection improvements at two locations, State Route 125/Bemiss Road at Northside Drive and State Route 133/St. Augustine Road at River Street in Lowndes County, Georgia.

In October 2003, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed intersection improvements at State Route (SR) 5 Connector/Barrett Parkway with CR 6798/Cobb Place Boulevard/Costco Drive in Cobb County, Georgia.

The proposed projects would consist of designing a 28-40 foot wide landscaped median to replace the existing 8-20 foot wide raised median along Perimeter Center Parkway from Hammond Drive to Perimeter Center West Parkway.

The proposed project area is the south side of Mt. Vernon Highway, from Powers Ferry Road to Roswell Road. The project would consist of the construction of a five-foot wide concrete sidewalk within existing shoulders along the south side of Mt.

The following includes highlights of five proposed projects along Perimeter Center West from Ashford-Dunwoody Road to Mt. Vernon Highway: Provide streetscape improvements including new sidewalks, street lights, landscaping, and improving pedestrian access.

This project would install an adaptive traffic signal timing system in 69 traffic signals within the Cumberland CID area. The installation of video detection and replacement of traffic signal cabinets and controllers is also included.
