This project consists of the very minor addition of new right-of-way to an intersection improvement project archeologically surveyed in June of 2006. The revised plans call for an additional small area of right-of-way in one quadrant of an intersection in the town of Moultrie.

This project consists of very minor additions of new right-of-way to an intersection improvement project archeologically surveyed in June of 2006. The revised plans call for additional small areas of right-of-way in three quadrants of three intersections in the town of Bainbridge.

An intensive archeological survey was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc.

In 1993 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted an intensive archeological survey of a 17.8 km portion of the proposed Savannah River Parkway in Bulloch and Jenkins Counties, Georgia. This 17.8 km section is known as Georgia DOT Project EDS-555(1).

In June 1993 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. surveyed the 16.9 km (10.5 mi) proposed route of a bypass around the west side of Swainsboro (King 1993). After submission of the survey report, the routing of the northern portion of the bypass was changed.

Southeastern Archeological Services conducted an intensive archeological survey of the proposed widening of U.S. Highway 1 from a point 0.7 km (0.4 mi) south of the Altamaha River, in Appling County, to the northern city limits of Lyons, in Toombs County, a distance of 35 km (21.73 ml).

An archaeological survey was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. in Floyd County, Georgia, along the proposed South Rome By-Pass running east from US 27/SR 1 and along Booze Mountain Road to SR 101 (Figure 1). The corridor is 6.3 km (3.9 mi) long and 73 m (240 ft) in width.
