Abstract

On January 7 and 8, 1992, New South Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of a 1.5 mile long section of Lewis Fraser Road in Liberty County, Georgia for Moreland Altobelli Associates. The project area will be widened and paved.

Eight positive shovel tests were recorded out of a total of 119 tests. However, the artifacts were not concentrated enough to be considered more than isolated finds. No significant cultural resources were encountered and no further work was recommended.
