The purpose of this project is new install lighting systems at four intersection along State Route (SR) 117/United States (US) 411 Bypass (BYP) in Laurens County, Georgia. The existing typical section of SR 117 consists of four 12-foot travel lanes, two in either direction of travel, with turn lanes at intersection approaches and a 12-foot depressed median of grass or concrete and paved shoulders of varying widths. Existing right of way (ROW) measures 250 feet from centerline along US 411 BYP and 80 feet along the intersecting streets. Project plans are still in development, however no new Right of Way (ROW) or easements are planned. An environmental survey boundary (ESB) was provided at the beginning of the project to establish the survey limits for the project. The project limits are 200 feet from the ma inline intersection of SR 117. At intersections 1 and 3 the project limits extend an extra 70 feet and 20 feet north along SR 117 respectively. The width of the APE is limited to existing ROW (Figures 2-5).
