Abstract

“In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project F- 083 -1 (31), Early County, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor.

This project proposes a by-pass of Blakely on new location from the intersection of U.S. 27/S.R. 39 to S.R .62. The project is approximately 2.2 miles long and will require about 100 to 125 feet of right-of-way. The location of the proposed bypass is shown on the attached map.
