"In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project I-675-1(124), Henry County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor.
The attached is a location map for a Park & Ride lot at the intersection of I-75 and S. R. 138 in Henry County. The lot will be located in the northeast quadrant of the intersection on 11.7 acres. This is to request that an archaeological and historical survey of the area be done. Herman Hadarits has some aerial photography on the project.
