Abstract

This project proposes the milling, resurfacing, leveling, patching, and shoulder building of SR 112 beginning at US 441 and ending at SR 57. All work will take place will run the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 11.35 miles. Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, tills project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
