Archeological Assessment of a Lanier County Resurfacing Project. This project proposes improvements to US 129/SR 11 beginning at the US 84/SR 38 intersection (M.P. 5.30) and ending approximately 70' south of the SR 31 intersection (M.P. 13.55). the proposed improvements are as follows:
1. construct and pave 2' of the existing shoulder, left and right, followed by resurfacing
2. reconstruct existing earth shoulders from the edge of new pavement out 4' for a smooth grade transition
All work will take place within the existing right-of-way, no new right-of-way will be required. Total project length is 8.25.miles.
