Abstract

"In compliance with Section I 06 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project CSNHS-M003-00(364), Habersham County has been surveyed with respect to archeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archeological resources within the proposed project's area of potential environmental effect.

This proposed project consists of the milling, resurfacing, restriping and installing handicap ramps on SR 385/US 441 beginning 700' north of the SR 105 intersection and ending at the intersection with SR 117/SR 197. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 4.490 miles.
