Archeological Assessment of the Houston County Resurfacing Project. This proposed project is to be let with the following project: STP-004-00(731); P.I. 0004731; Houston County, Georgia. The proposed resurfacing project is 8.70 miles in length and consists of milling, overlaying and shoulder building on SR 247 beginning 0.18 mi le south of SR 96 at MP 13.66 and ending at the beginning of Echeconnee Creek Bridge at MP 22.36. No additional right-of-way is required.
