Abstract

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project BRSLB-1205(6) in Thomas County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the proposed project's area of potential environmental effect. ยท

Proposed project BRSLB-1205(6).in Thomas County proposes to replace the existing bridge over Little Creek located on County Road 299. There is 100 feet of existing right-of-way, and no additional right-of-way would be required for the completion of this project. Approximately 1300 feet X 10 feet of temporary easement would be needed on both sides of the roadway to construct this project, .The total length of the project is 1300 feet (0.25 mile).
