Archaeological Assessment of Project CSSTP-M002-00(705), Polk County, Leveling, Milling, Resurfacing and Shoulder Construction on SR 6, From SR 101 (MP 23.46) to the Paulding County Line (MP 29.28) eastbound and from SR 6 at the Paulding County Line (MP 29.28) to SR 101 (MP 23.46) for an approximate length of 5.831 miles. Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Authority (FHW A), the State Historic Preservation Division of the Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the NHRP.
