Abstract

Type and size of existing structure and ROW. The existing structure is a narrow, structurally deficient bridge approximately 16.0 m x 3.6 m (52.4' x 11.8') with concrete abutments, steel beams, and wood deck bridge with a sufficiency rating of 14.3. The existing right-of-way on County Road 16 is the existing roadway which is approximately 4.9 m to 5.48m (16' to 18') dirt roadbed with O m to 0.6 m (0' to 2') graded shoulders. e. Termini, description of new structure, required ROW, location of realignment or detour. The proposed project would begin from approximately 457.3 m (1500') north and south of the Eastanollee Creek. The required replacement structure would consist of approximately 67 m x 7.3 m (220' x 24') bridge. County Road 16 would be relocated to form a continuous route to County Road 11 with the east leg of County Road 16 forming a "T" intersection with the relocated roadway. The proposed approaches would consist of 6.09m (20') aggregate surface course lanes with 1.2m (4') rural shoulders. The required right-of-way would vary from approximately 24.4 m to 36.6 m (80' to 120’). A detour would be provided using existing roadways. Total project length would be approximately 0.91 (0.570 mile).
