Abstract

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archeological survey of various interchanges and Improvements to I-85 from October 21 through October 26, 1992 and March 17 and 18, 1993. The project area lies in and around the existing I-85 right-of-way between Old Norcross Road and approximately 2,000 feet north of Old Peachtree Road and is approximately three and three quarters miles in total length. A pedestrian survey designed to identify archeological sites was conducted. No sites were discovered by the survey and no further archeological study is recommended.
