Site 1: 700’ x 25’ bridge with timber piles and concrete web wall bents, timber caps, steel beams, and concrete deck. Site 2: 160’ x 23.8’ bridge with timber piles, timber caps, steel beams, and concrete deck. The purpose of this project is to replace two (2) existing narrow and structurally deficient bridges and thereby improve the operational safety of the route which is a major east/west connector route between Alabama and Peachtree City. These bridges have Sufficiency Ratings of 12.6 and 7.0 respectively, State Ranks of 2106 and 1741, and a Needs Rating of 58.
