This is a bridge project, BHF-002-2(29), located in Telfair County. The bridge is on SR 27 and crosses Sugar Creek. The existing structure is 240 feet long and 28 feet wide. The existing ROW is 80 feet. The proposed project would construct a new bridge approximately 44 feet east and parallel to the existing bridge. The new bridge would be approximately equal in size to the existing bridge and used to provide two 12 foot lanes for northbound traffic with the existing bridge used for southbound traffic. This project only includes bridge replacement. The roadway widening will be completed under a separate project.
