Project OSAP-98-7(2), Fulton County: Determination of No Undertaking; the subject project would consist of the installation of a 2.82 m (9.25ft) high pedestrian fence above the sidewalk on the Boulder Park Road bridge over I-285. Also included would be the installation of a 2.74 m (9ft) high straight fence to be located where there is no sidewalk. No earthwork would be involved in the process of installing these fences. No acquisition of additional right-of-way or construction would be required to implement the project. According to 36 CFR 800.2(o), an "undertaking" consists of "any project, activity, or program that can result in changes in the character or use of historic properties, if any such properties are located within the proposed project' s area of potential effects. This project does not have the potential to result in changes to the character or use of any historic properties, therefore, the subject project does not constitute an undertaking. This finding fulfills the Department's requirements under Section 106.
