Abstract

The proposed project would involve the construction of a steel bridge with a minimum clear-span width of 12 feet that would extend from the south side of SR 54 to the north side of SR 54, a two-lane highway which is currently being widened into 4 lanes. The existing r/w is 200 ft. Two approach paths that would tie the bridge to existing private construction would be required. The approach path north of SR 54 would extend from the proposed bridge location no more than 50ft north of the existing right-of-way, where it would tum to the east and extend for no more than l00ft to where it would tie-in with a private development. The approach path south of SR 54 would extend from the proposed bridge location no more than 50ft south of the existing night-of-way where 11 would shift to the cast for no more than 50ft to where it would tie-in with a private development.
