Abstract

This project proposes the leveling, resurfacing and shoulder building on SR 113 beginning at M.P. 9.95 in Polk County and ending to M.P. 8.23 in Bartow County. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 8.96 miles. Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. This proposed project consists of the milling and resurfacing on SR 53 beginning at the CSX Railroad bridge (M.P. 7.79) and ending at its intersection with I-75 (M.P. 9.71). All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 1.92 miles. Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHW A), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 12.65 miles. Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
