In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project BRZLB-079(4), Crawford County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archaeological resources within the project corridor. This is a bridge replacement project which proposed to construct a triple 7 x 7 culvert on County Road 19 over Sweet water Creek. The project is approximately 1600 feet long and will require a R/W of 100 feet. Present R/W is 40 feet.
