Southern Research, Historic Preservation Consultants, Inc. has conducted a Phase One Intensive Archaeological Survey at the Proposed Brentwood Development. The 8.6-acre Area of Potential Effect (APE) lies on the east side of Douthit Ferry Road, southwest of Cartersville, Georgia (Figures 1 and 2).
The survey was for compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, 1966 (as amended). This survey report provides the documentation regarding any effect the proposed project will have on significant archaeological sites.
