In compliance with Sect ion 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, archaeological surveys were conducted with the following projects between March 21-23, 1979. The project reported here is BR0LB-065(2) located in Clinch County. Survey methods include a visual search of exposed ground surfaces and randomly placed shovel tests. For this project, 3600 cubic yards of fill material is to be discharged and there will be the replacement of the existing 14 foot by 88-foot bridge with a 30 foot by 122-foot concrete bridge over Suwannee Creek near Argyle, Clinch County, Georgia.
