In the spring and early summer of 1999, TRC Garrow Associates, Inc., conducted data recovery investigations at three sites within the Upper Towaliga Reservoir Redesign Area in Henry and Spalding counties, Georgia. These sites are listed eligible for the National Register of Historic Places, and were endangered by the proposed expansion of the Upper Towaliga Reservoir system. Data recovery investigations were designed to mitigate the adverse effect that this expansion would have on these significant archaeological resources. This report details the results of that study.
