Abstract

This survey was conducted in conjunction with BHF-031-1(21) in Quitman. The project consists of a 1 ½ mile passing lane for US 82/SR 50. An eastbound lane is to be added from mile post 14.18 to 15.68 in Quitman County.

A visual check of the area revealed steep slopes with very minor drainage crossings. Checks of eroded roadcuts and ditches revealed orange sands. No additional sites were discovered.
