Abstract

This is a county borrow pit located northwest of Dublin. Jerry Moye called and reported finding lithics on the ground surface of an older borrow area. A pedestrian survey in and surrounding the extract pit located several chert flakes. Limited subsurface testing indicated the absence of buried archaeological materials. Site is designated 9LS(DOT)11.
