BRMLB-4001(1), Chatham County: Georgia DOT Project BRMLB-4001(1) is an in-place bridge replacement over Shipyard Creek in Savannah. Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted. Only those areas which have been disturbed by previous bridge construction will be affected. For this reason, no archaeological field inspection is necessary and the archaeological resources of the State will not be affected. The bridge replacement is on Herb River Crossing Laroach Avenue in Savannah, Georgia. The project will widen the approaches to a new 160 feet long by 36-foot-wide concrete bridge. The existing bridge will be removed.
