The proposed work will take place along a 5.60-mile section of State Route (SR) 70 in Douglas County from the Chattahoochee River to the Chattahoochee River (MP 0.00 - MP 5.640) (Figure I). The proposed work consists of milling. patching, resurfacing, striping, raised pavement markers, and curb cuts to install wheel chair ramps. The project will take place within existing Right-of Way (ROW), which varies throughout. The limits of construction will be 5 feet from the edge of pavement. Work on all bridges with concrete decks will be limited to restriping only.
