Project BRMLB-0805 (1) Carroll County is located on Little Tallapoosa River on Lovvorn Road near Carrollton, Georgia. The purpose of the project is the construction of approaches and detour bridge to be used in conjunction with replacement of existing bridge. The project will place approximately 10,100 cubic yards of fill material below the 100-year flood elevation covering approximately 1 acre. Fill material will be obtained from highland sources. Erosion control will be grassing on shoulders and slopes and stone rip rap at bridge end rolls. Detour will be obliterated upon completion of bridge replacement.
