Replacement of the County Road 68 bridge over Cemochechobee Creek south of Coleman. A nonmajor action was approved on August 8, 1978, for a project having a length of 0.02 mile, but the current Construction Authorization requests is for a project length of 0.492 mile. This increase in length is apparently due to the bridge being replaced on new location to correct alignment problems at the existing location.
An archeological survey will have to be conducted on the location before a nonmajor action can be approved for the revised project. We are holding the subject request without action pending the outcome of this survey.
