In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project M- 3213(1), Bibb County, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of the archaeological resources within the project corridor. This is the proposed widening and reconstruction of Forest Hill Road from Over Look Avenue to Wimbish Road. A corridor 100' wide centered on the existing Centerline was surveyed for the project duration (1.2 miles).
