The project consists of the repair of the existing concrete beams and encasing the existing 18-inch square reinforced concrete piles. Piles to be encased should be cleaned of all foreign matter and unsound concrete prior to encasement. All exposed reinforcing steel shall be cleaned to remove rust prior to the repairs. Some jacking may be required if beams have settled to restore them to the correct position. This project shall be completed under traffic with lane closures.
