Abstract

Archeological Assessment of the Various District 4 Counties bridge repair project. This project involves the cleaning and painting of steel pipes, pile encasement, and scour repair on 52 bridge structures in various counties in District 4. The painting of steel pipe entails sandblasting, followed by the cleaning and painting of each structure. All bridge pile encasement work will involve the wrapping of each pile with corrugated metal, followed with the pouring of concrete between the metal and bridge pile, then the corrugated metal is removed once the concrete hardens. The scour repair is required at one area and this will entail replacing the stone and rip-rap within the scoured area. All work will be conducted from the bridge and road surface. No right-of-way will be required.
