Archaeological Assessment of Project NH-20-2(183), Newton, Walton and Morgan Counties; Interstate ramp rehabilitation and clearing of right-of-way in various locations along Interstate 20. The project consists of clearing the existing right-of-way beginning at the existing outside shoulder and extending for a distance of 50', but should be no closer than 15' from the existing right-of-way fence beginning in Newton county at the Alcovy Road interchange (at Milepost 92.247 and continuing to Morgan county at Milepost 126.513. The purpose of this project is to improve safety as well as drainage at five identified sites along Interstate 20 in Newton and Morgan counties.
