Georgia DOT Project # BRF-155-1(1) is an in-place bridge replacement project at Savage Creek and SR 96 in Houston-Twiggs Counties, District 3. Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted. Only those areas which have been disturbed by previous bridge construction will be affected. For this reason, no archaeological field inspection is necessary and the archaeological resources of the state will not be affected.
