Abstract

The proposed project would consist of the milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, raised pavement markers, and installation of ADA-compliant wheelchair ramps (curb cuts) for a 12.15- mile section of State Route (SR) 8 in DeKalb County, Georgia, starting at the Fulton County Line (Moreland Ave NE), and ending at the Gwinnett County Line (see Figure 1). All work would take place within existing right-of-way (ROW) with no work proposed beyond 5 feet of the existing edge of pavement. Curb cuts with wheelchair ramps would be installed or upgraded at the following ten (10) intersections with SR 8 (see Table 1 and Figures 2a-c).
