On April 30, 2020, ERM archaeologist Price Laird conducted a site visit at 1181 Liberty Church Road, Bremen, Haralson County, Georgia, for a proposed communication project. The project consists of proposed satellite access node (SAN) facility with an overall height not to exceed 20 ft. and a total footprint of 3057 square ft. (0.07 ac., 284.0 m2) including the facility, access, and all easements. The project footprint is considered the direct Area of Potential Effects (APE). The visual APE was considered to be a 500 ft.radius surrounding the project area, based on the overall height. The proposed project location is within a manicured residential area composed primarily of mixed grasses, ornamental shrubbery, and hardwoods. The surrounding view-shed, including the APE for visual effects, consists of residential and forested properties. Background research did not identify any archaeological sites or historic properties within the area of potential effects (APE) for direct or visual effects. No new archaeological sites or historic properties were identified during the course of the current survey.
