Abstract

This project was conducted to locate and report any prehistoric or historic cultural resources within a proposed natural gas pipeline temporary right-of-way and adjacent temporary work areas. Information concerning site locations, size, and possible origins are included within this report. The project work areas are located in Henry, Rockdale, Oconee, Walton and Clarke counties, Georgia. As a result of this reconnaissance survey, one isolated find and one aboriginal site were located. This office recommends avoidance or further testing of the site in order to determine site integrity and potential significance.
