Abstract

An intensive archaeological survey of a proposed project corridor for a wetlands advanced wastewater treatment concept was conducted in the area of the City of Augusta Wastewater Treatment plant and the Savannah River. Two artifact occurrences were recorded; no archaeological or historic sites were discovered within the proposed project area. It is concluded, therefore, that no archaeological or historic resources eligible for or listed in the National Register of Historic Places would be affected by the proposed project.
