Abstract

Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted an intensive, Phase I archeological survey of the proposed Greenhouse Park in Athens, Georgia. The project area is located on University of Georgia property on the east side of South Milledge Avenue, extending east from the Central of Georgia railroad line. The tract covers approximately 7.8 ha (19 ac) and is currently in pasture. The university intends to construct a number of greenhouses on the property. The archeological survey was conducted by Rob Benson on March 26, 2002.
