Abstract

The proposed projects would replace two existing bridge structures on County Road (CR) 223 over Fifteenmile Creek (bridge Structure ID 043-0031-0) and its adjacent overflow (bridge Structure ID 043-0030) in Candler County, Georgia. These projects are associated with PI Nos. 0016602 and 0016603, respectively. The current proposed bridges are to have 12-foot (ft) travel lanes with a deck width of 43.08 ft. This section of CR 223 is currently a two lane Major Collector highway with 10-ft wide travel lanes. There are currently no bike lanes, medians, sidewalks, curb and gutter, or urban drainage systems within the proposed project limits or nearby surrounding area. There are no major utilities in the vicinity of the project.
