The proposed signal upgrade project would consist of a complete signal upgrade with pedestrian accommodation for every intersection. This would bring these intersections up to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and replace old signal parts in place. These updates would occur at ten (10) intersections in Fulton County, Georgia, which are listed below (Figures 1 and 2a–2c). Additionally, at the intersection of State Route (SR) 154/Peters Street SW/SR 14 at McDaniel Street SW (Intersection #5) railroad preemption equipment will be installed in association with the Norfolk Southern railway.
