Abstract

Between March and September 2021, Brockington and Associates, Inc. (Brockington) completed a Phase I cultural resources survey for the 115kV transmission line rebuild and installation of a fiber optic line along an existing transmission line corridor located in Bibb, Butts, Gray, Griffin, Jasper, and Monroe Counties, Georgia. The following nine previously identified archaeological sites lie within the project corridor as well as within federal lands and were not originally reported (Table 1) (see Figures 2.5-2.9 in the original report). We provide updated site assessments, Georgia archaeological site forms, and National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) recommendations below (shovel test results can be seen in Figures 4.6-4.18 in the original report).
