Abstract

Proposed improvements include the replacement and upgrades of transmission line corridor structures along the existing Hatch-Offerman 230 kV corridor. Existing ROW is 80 m wide. Existing structures are steel lattice towers that range from 65 - 115 ft tall and will be replaced with concrete H-frames that are 100 - 140 ft tall.

Survey area consists of six areas where structures are to be replaced within delineated wetlands. Within the six areas, the archaeological APE includes 100 m of upland outside of each delineated wetland within a 30-m-wide corridor. The historic resources APE includes the six survey areas and the existing ROW.
