Archaeological Testing in the Etowah Valley National Register District, Georgia DOT Project BRZLB-0015(2), Bartow County, Georgia

Through controlled archaeological testing within the proposed right-of-way of a new bridge project it has been determined that there will be an adverse effect on one of two prehistoric sites included in the Etowah Valley National Register District. A disparity is noted in a comparison of the current findings and the original WPA excavations at the site.
