Abstract

An intensive cultural resources survey of 215 acres was conducted for Georgia Ports Authority on the Savannah River. The survey recorded four archeological sites and seven residences that were over 50 years old. Two of the archeological sites, 9CH137 and 9CH793, are eligible for nomination to the Georgia Register of Historic Places, and the National Register of Historic Places. None of the seven houses are eligible due to extensive modifications.
