Abstract

An archaeological survey of 4 proposed construction sites for water system improvements in Jones County, Georgia was conducted. A single archaeological site yielding Euro-American and prehistoric cultural material was discovered. The site is ineligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places and the proposed water system improvements will have no adverse effect on the cultural resources.
