Abstract

On December 8, 1999 and March 6, 2000, New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed I-75/Eagles Landing interchange improvements in Henry County, Georgia. The study area consists of the reconfiguration and reconstruction of the existing interchange as well as additional work on Rock Quarry Road and the construction of the Patrick Henry Parkway. A combination of shovel testing and visual inspection of exposed ground surface was utilized during the survey. No archaeological remains were found and no further archaeological study was recommended.
