Abstract

On December 18, Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. (SAS) archeologically surveyed 44 intersections in Clayton County Georgia. The survey was undertaken to ensure that the Georgia Department of Transportation is in compliance with Federal regulations concerning the disposition and protection of significant cultural resources (National Historic Preservation Act of 1966--as amended). No archeological sites were discovered, and no further archeological studies are needed at these intersections.
