Abstract

A cultural resources survey of the bridge crossing of Toms Creek on SR 94 in Echols County, Georgia, was conducted by New South Associates June 20, 2001. An area including a 1,600 foot approach on the east side of the bridge and a 1,800 foot approach on the west with a 400 foot wide right-of-way was studied. No archaeological sites were found at the Toms Creek crossing. As no historic resources were found, no further cultural resources study of the crossing is recommended.
