The 0.8 acre site in the Savannah Historic District, Historic Landmark, was the subject of a Cultural Resources Assessment in The Cultural Resources Assessment found that the site had the potential to significant archaeological resources. Phase II survey was recommended and by New South Associates. Four trenches and five blocks were excavated by and recorded for stratigraphy and feature density. Features dating from prehistoric occupations through Post-bellum Period could be considered as contributing elements to the Savannah Historic District.
